Welcome to Singh Studio. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before entering into an agreement with us.
1. Services Provided
Singh Studio offers photography, videography, live streaming, portraits, photo booth rentals, 360 booth experiences, commercial shoots, and monthly content retainers in Calgary and surrounding areas. The scope of services will be outlined in each individual agreement or proposal.
2. Bookings & Deposits
- A signed agreement and non-refundable deposit are required to confirm your booking.
- Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Remaining balances are due as specified in your contract (typically before the event or upon delivery).
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Client Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within [X days] of the event, the full balance may still be payable.
- Rescheduling: Dates may be rescheduled subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
- Provider Cancellations: In the unlikely event Singh Studio must cancel, all monies paid will be refunded or a replacement professional arranged.
Payments
- Accepted payment methods: [list methods – e-transfer, bank transfer, cash, etc.].
- Late payments may incur interest or service suspension.
- Singh Studio reserves the right to withhold deliverables until full payment is received.
5. Deliverables
- Standard turnaround:
- Photography: 2–4 weeks
- Videography: 4–8 weeks
- Live Streaming Recordings: within 7 days
- Timelines may vary based on project complexity.
- Raw files are not included unless specifically agreed upon and may be subject to additional fees.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure timely access to the venue and cooperation from guests and vendors.
- Obtain necessary permissions, permits, or licenses (for music, venues, copyrighted material, etc.).
- Provide a safe working environment for Singh Studio staff and equipment.
7. Equipment & Damage
The Client is financially responsible for any damage to Singh Studio’s equipment caused by guests, vendors, or event participants.
8. Copyright & Usage Rights
- All photographs and videos remain the exclusive property of Singh Studio.
- The Client is granted a limited license for personal use (sharing, printing, social media).
- Commercial or promotional use requires written consent or a licensing agreement.
- Clients may not alter, edit, or resell Singh Studio’s work without permission.
9. Social Media & Portfolio Use
Singh Studio reserves the right to use selected images, videos, and behind-the-scenes content for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Live Streaming Limitations
While Singh Studio takes all reasonable measures to provide high-quality live streaming, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to factors beyond our control, including internet outages, platform failures, or technical issues.
11. Liability
- Singh Studio is not liable for unforeseen circumstances, including weather conditions, equipment failure, or restrictions imposed by venues.
- Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client.
- Singh Studio is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of income, reputation, or opportunities).
12. Force Majeure
Neither party will be held responsible for non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, accidents, or government restrictions.
13. Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal information collected from Clients will be kept confidential and used only for business purposes in line with Singh Studio’s Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Calgary, Alberta.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By booking Singh Studio’s services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
